Outlook for Mac 365 crashes during startup
BudHartley Force Quit on the Outlook app as it starts has had no effect to my issue as still crashes. I have reinstalled a fresh version of Office today and still using the 16.56 version which crashes. Not sure exactly when the new autoupdate happened on this version as not been on the Mac over Xmas but since I have come back to it this last week I have had the issue. Anyone have any other solution options?

Agree with the frustration.
I upgraded to new MAC Mini. Outlook worked for gmail, but crashed for comcast - every time I tried to get to comcast e-mail folder. Chat tech recommended rebuilding comcast folders - now NOTHING works. computer too fast in crashing comcast, so I can't try Force Quit action. Really UNACCEPTABLE.

I'm having the same issue. Agree there is no time to do a Force Quit as Outlook crashes too quickly. Just posting to show others that as of Jan 24th problem is still not resolved.

Updated iOS, updated outlook, checked email this morning and then boom! Crash! Restarted MacBook Air, tried the Force Quit options, NOTHING. So like everyone, really frustrated.
