Outlook for iOS does not sync Calendar
Hi All,
We currently have some issues with the sync to the Outlook for iOS and Android app.
I've checked the following;
- Devices are compliant in Intune and enrolled
- We use a Hybrid Exchange environment with Exchange 2016
- Email traffic is enabled with Active Sync
- OutlookService is showing "Access Granted"
- Users have MFA enabled and configured
- IOS versions differ from 13 to latest
- Android versions differ from 8 to latest
The main complaints are:
- Outlook calendar is not up-to-date in the app
- Outlook stops syncing after a limited time but that differs per device/account
- Users are not able to check their mail that's older than 28 days
- Some users even do not receive mail at all
On a Laptop / Citrix session with outlook there are no issues.
What kind of things should i check? We already had support tickets @ MS but the engineers could not find anything that can trigger these issues..

I pray someone can help me fix the outlook calendar not syncing with iPhone because I've been trying to find a fix for a year now. I operate a business on a PC and am using the latest ms Office 365, and need to rely on the calendar syncing on my iPhone. I've tried to resolve this miserable situation spending countless hours with Apple, and Microsoft Technical support without resolve.
Problem:
I have several emails; outlook, a business email, a google email, an AOL email (multiple servers)
They are each directed to sync in Office 365 Outlook on my pc
Outlook is set up with IMAP/pop, which cannot be changed – (I read on a post this is the root cause for it not to sync to the iPhone outlook calendar app)
Is anyone at Microsoft willing or able to fix this? This posting is my last resort to ask for help to fix this problem. Otherwise, I suppose I am forced to buy an Apple computer and ditch Microsoft products just to get my calendar to sync to the phone. (Outraged)

cjadminologist I wonder if you've been able to fix your problem. After hours on the phone and chat with both Apple and MS representatives, I am a little closer to figuring this out. I've used iCloud, and one of the MS reps I spoke with said to delete the iCloud app on my PC based laptop because I'd downloaded the app from the MS store. He said I should have downloaded from the Apple store. Once that happened, I got closer but still have glitches with the calendar syncing. Sometimes it syncs and it's wonderful. I'm still working on this....
Just wish that I could find the one person at MS who knows the correct settings. It worked beautifully when I was using enterprise Outlook, and everyone I know who uses Outlook for work and Yahoo or Google for personal is able to get this done.

techteachr - Thank you for reaching out. Your message contains info and some tips that I have tried, and they do not work. After deleting icloud for windows and reinstalling, I thought progress was being made, but no so. Reading online comments from users there are hundreds + (maybe thousands) users experiencing the same problems. Some indicate that it's from Windows 10. And I don't think Windows 11 is available yet. The error message I receive trying to download and install icloud for windows using ms store is 19042.1165 and those online instructions also do not work. I already tried this trough the Apple store unsuccessfully. Microsoft Technical Support this morning timed out much too early, trying to continue, and the system locked me out. That means No Technical Support from MS. I am wondering why Microsoft sell products that they cannot or refuse to support? I believe my last resort is to my PC and all the Microsoft products installed and purchase exclusively apple products. There's no way I can get back the last 12 months of my life grueling over this, so I think this is the only way to resolve the Microsoft problem that I have inherited. If you believe there is a live person within Microsoft that knows how and is willing to fix the issue within the next week, t I would like to connect with them.
