Outlook for Android search issue

So it's Aug 2025, and IMAP Search and IMAP Sync for Outlook on Android still do not work at all...
Nothing, nada, zip.
Search finds no emails at all.
And Sync continues to show emails in the Inbox that have been deleted on Outlook desktop, even after multiple refreshes.
I have been reporting this for years via the Outlook for Android Support option, and all I get is either 'please explain the issue...', or, after stating the issue is already well known by Microsoft, as I have been reporting it for years, is a 'oh, Yeah, we know about those issues - keep your Outlook updated for the latest fixes...' response.
And NOTHING GET FIXED - for YEARS!!!
Absolutely appalling!
