Outlook for Android - IMAP Search and IMAP Sync broken for years

I have been reporting that IMAP Search and IMAP Sync on Outlook for Android just do not work for years - and I do mean multiple years!

The responses I get from the 'Microsoft Outlook for Android' support team are just useless.
They range from 'we can find no issues', to 'yes, we know about those issues, so keep Outlook updated to get the fix as soon as it is released', to 'have you tried....' which obviously makes no difference, as the issues are BUGS!

When I do get through to a knowledgeable snr. Microsoft engineer, they immediately admit the issues exist!!!

Absolutely useless!

Quite simply, Search never shows any results for the multiple IMAP accounts I have, even when I know I have literally 100's of emails containing the search term within the program.

Nothing is ever found...

And with Sync, Outlook for Android continues to show emails in the Inbox, even when they have been deleted or moved on my Outlook PC program.
Refreshing the program does nothing.

Any other email program I use correctly shows all emails, with those deleted or moved gone!

Why can such obvious bug not be fixed?
