Outlook error "Cannot move the items" when moving items to other folders

I figured it out...... it's ridiculous that Microsoft has known about this issue and the only reply is "we're investigating"
I toggled on the "Try the new Outlook" in the upper right hand corner. It closed my Outlook and downloaded/opened the new Outlook interface. Message said it need to update to run. I allowed the update. I then togged off the "Try the new Outlook" and every thing is now working perfectly.

Jim_Murrell - almost helped me. I've got the new client, but it's incompatible with my email account, and from that screen there's no option to revert to the previous version.
Going to have to figure it out with Process Monitor, again.
- Jim_MurrellDec 21, 2023Copper ContributorI'm using Outlook 365 windows desktop ..... the toggle is still available on mine and I was able to just toggle it off and it re-opened in the original version, but this time it was fixed. (in the upper right hand column)
