Outlook e-mail widget on Android stopped working
On my Android device the outlook e-mail widget stopped working about 3 days ago. The phone is Huawei P30pro.
The outlook calendar widget still works, (but see below)
It looks like this happened after the latest update to 4.2537.1 on 25 Sept 2025.
The same issue cropped up 2 days later on a second android phone in the family when it updated itself to the newest version.
Also, quite recently, but earlier than the latest update on 25 sept, any calender entry made on the outlook app in android, cannot be edited or deleted.
However, when using outlook on a PC the calendar entry can be edited and deleted.
Anybody observing the same problem?

Same problem for me since several days on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro on Android (EMUI 12.0.0). Already tried to update and reinstall Outlook.

Yeah, same thing happened to me after that update. What worked for me was uninstalling the Outlook updates and reinstalling the app fresh from the Play Store. Also had to clear cache and data before reinstalling. Calendar issue still seems buggy though, hopefully they patch it soon.

I have the exact same problem since around last week and I also have a Huawei P30. I've tried deleting outlook's cache, uninstalling and installing the app, re-adding the widget, restarting the phone, deleting emails, and nothing works. It's very annoying... I use the widget all the time because I have to manage several email accounts and it's easier to miss emails without the widget...

Thanks for the confirmation and sorry to hear that you have the same problem!
Just wanted to add here that the second phone in the family with the same issue is also a Huawei, but is an older Mate 10 Pro Modell.
I haven't yet tried uninstall / reinstall because my mail box is quite large and my Internet connection is quite slow in the moment, but if I do a reinstall, I would try it with a slightly older version from an APK Mirror site. That should then also prevent auto updates to the app.
