Outlook calender keeps creating meeting duplicates everytime I dismiss reminder

Hello,

I am using Outlook for Mac Version 16.47.

My outlook calender is going crazy here. It keeps duplicating all the calender meetings everytime I dismiss the reminders.

The issue is not seen on the web app for my company, apple calender or on any other device. Thus it is only local and seen in outlook.

I have tried clearing the cache and deleting the profile, but it temporiraly clears all the meetings only to start duplicating again and again. Here is what it looks like -

This issue is happening for many months now.
