Outlook APP Issues - inboxes not automatically syncing to show old and new emails

In my outlook app on my iPad, I have to manually click each inbox for it to load all my emails and let me know if new emails arrived in each inbox which is really frustrating. It doesn’t automatically let me know if there are new emails in my inbox or separate custom inboxes but i need to click each one to load for a moment and then all the old emails populate and any new ones if any. 

This isn’t the issue on WEB VERSION. It only happens on my IPAD and IPHONE OUTLOOK APPS. I tried everything. Resetting the app, deleting and downloading.
