Outlook 365

I have recently installed Office 365 on a new computer after my old computer completely erased all data on the hard disc. It is running Windows 11. I am receiving emails but Outlook wont send and I keep getting a pop up asking for my smtp or Imap password. When I enter this it still keeps popping up and interrupting everything. I have tried checking the details in account settings and checked the details with my email provider with no success. All other apps. in 365 work.
