Outlook 365 not responding when search response item is selected but runs fine in safe mode

When user runs a search in outlook 365 the results are returned but when they click on a result outlook freezes and says not responding at top. Outlook search runs fine in safe more.
I have turned off all addins, reindexed search, ran both quick and web repair,s and renamed ost file and created a new one to no avail
