Outlook 2016 for Mac no longer syncing Google contacts and calendar

Hello all i recently had to reinstall Outlook 2016 for Mac to Activate my license. After doing this and adding my gmail account back to Outlook i no longer see my google calendar and contacts. This was working flawlessly before i reinstalled Office for Mac. Any ideas how to get this going again please?
