Outlook - cannot add Google G Suite account - javascript disabled?

I have managed to make it work.
What worked for me was to login to google in a browser, when it prompted to choose between G-Suite and Individual I choose Individual and then it asked to create / rename the account, but instead of our company domain it was locked to gmail.com.
Then when I tried to login to my email account on workspace it logged in without prompt to choose between accounts, then I added my mail to outlook and it is working wonders.
- This is not an option for me as Google requires SMS verification for this personal account and it is linked to a phone number I don't own for 10 or more years and does not give me any other way to login to the personal account. So far this has not be a problem at all as I use only the G-Suite account and as far as I understand the personal account is practically unusable as I would have to change the username anyway.
However, the real problem is the Outlook implementation of the embedded browser - why in 2022 it is still IE 11, while the browser used for the Outlook Add-Ins is Edge (Microsoft Edge WebView2 at the moment). Both browsers are embedded into the same desktop software (Outlook).
