Opening PDF attachments in Outlook to default PDF viewer

And they still have not done anything about this. its disturbing to have to download everything that comes in because it cant be opened in a generic pdf viewer even if something else is chosen by default. I want to be able to use another pdf viewer besides adobe.

Not sure I understand. For me, using New Outlook for windows, if I right-click on a PDF attachment, or click the down-arrow, and choose "Open"
I get the standard File Open warning dialog and then it opens in Sumatra PDF, my Windows Default PDF viewer.
What is different for you? What PDF viewer do you have set as your Windows Default?
