Not able to quote from message in replies in New Outlook

I started using the New Outlook in Windows 11 because I was tired of all the problems in the latest update on Thunderbird, which I have been using for years. I have never used the old Outlook program, and when I tried it, I could not successfully import my contacts from Thunderbird. However, I was able to do that in the New Outlook.

Unfortunately, I have found a few problems with the New Outlook, including being unable to quote from the message to which I am replying. There is no File option in the New Outlook, and I have found no way to set it up for automatic quoting. Is there a way to do this?
