New Outlook Not Syncing Read Status for Gmail
Hi, I'm running the new version of Outlook, and have connected to both my Uni (O365) and Gmail (Microsoft Cloud). O365 works fine, but the Gmail account doesn't sync read status back to gmail. I.e. outlook gets the correct read status from Gmail, and it syncs things like starring/flagging emails back to Gmail. But although I can mark things as read in Outlook, that status never syncs back to Gmail. The same is true on 3 different PCs, so it's not peculiar to one particular computer.
Any ideas?

My question to Microsoft and Google is why this matter has not been addressed before all the other things that have been addressed. This matter affects more of your customers ($$$) in a real way than anything else whether YOU like it or not. Is it all about you or your customers??? Are you being children or moving on with reality and profitably? GROW UP MICROSOFT AND GOOGLE!!!! The vast majority of both your customers are on both Windows and using Gmail. PUT YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND AND GET A GRIP!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!
- I am finding this as well whatever you do in new Outlook does not reflect back on my Android phone with my Gmail account. Hopefully they address this.
