New outlook, missing features
I am an independent advisor answering questions about Outlook.
Your observation is correct. Many features are missing or perform differently.
- Saving multiple attachments to a location of choice is available. Click on the attachment and drop down menu to see the options.
- Dragging to OneDrive is unsupported for now but you can used the method above.
- To duplicate an event, right click on the event to review your options.

Outlook is getting worse every day and New Outlook is just a huge leap backwards in productivity. It’s bad enough that attaching files saved to a OneDrive location grind Outlook to a halt and can no longer be attached if the file is open. No public folders in New Outlook is a deal breaker. Why doesn’t MS try developing a useful replacement for public folder contact groups rather than trying to gaslight users into thinking they don’t need them?
