New Outlook doesn't have my subfolders

The new Outlook didn't migrate my contacts or subfolders or all the emails I had in my inbox.  I have started the process of exporting the subfolders, but all the directions I can find for importing say to simply click on the "File" tab at the top and import the file.  But there is NO file tab at the top in the new Outlook!  All I see is Home, View, and Help.  Please tell me how to import my subfolders and find my inbox from the older version of Outlook.
