New Outlook - Drag and Drop Tasks from Task List to Calendar not available
Dear Microsoft Tech Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to address a feature in the new Outlook that significantly impacts user productivity, particularly for those who rely heavily on Microsoft 365’s suite of tools.
In the previous versions of Outlook, a core functionality that many of us found invaluable was the ability to quickly and effortlessly drag and drop tasks from the task list directly into the calendar. This feature streamlined our planning process, allowing for efficient organization and time management.
However, with the introduction of the new Outlook, which incorporates ToDo for task management, this crucial drag-and-drop capability to the Outlook calendar seems to be missing. The inability to move tasks directly into the calendar from ToDo represents a considerable setback for individuals who are serious about enhancing their productivity using software tools.
I understand the need for evolution and the integration of new features, but I believe reinstating this particular functionality would significantly benefit the user community. The drag-and-drop feature in a planning tool is more than a convenience; it's a vital component of effective time management and organization.
I would like to express my gratitude for the extensive array of software solutions provided by Microsoft 365. These tools have been instrumental in our daily operations and have greatly contributed to our productivity and efficiency. It's this appreciation for the Microsoft ecosystem that prompts me to request a reconsideration of the drag-and-drop feature in the new Outlook.
Your attention to this matter and continued dedication to improving user experience is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards
Christian Pech
