New Emails Creating a calendar appointment

Hello, we have a user here when they start crafting an email, outlook will randomly freeze and create a calendar appointment. The calendar appointments are random letters that the user was typing in the email. I have tried online repairing and turning off the "automatically process meeting requests" check box in settings and the issue still occurs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
