New change view dropdown?

Recently, I believe since Win11 was updated to 24H2, moved emails from the inbox to folders were not appearing in the folders (Outlook 2019). Created new folder, moved "Test" email to a TEST folder. TEST folder showed 1 new message but the folder was empty. 

So the Test email is there, but not shown. Opened Change View, "Hide Message" selected (not intentionally by me) in the dropdown. Selected "IMAP Message" and of course the Test message appeared in the TEST folder.

Below is a pre-24H2 folder Change View dropdown. Can anyone explain what may be going on here, why the Change View dropdowns have changed?

    In the new version of Outlook, tap the View tab and then tap the Change View drop-down menu to switch between different layouts such as Compact and Preview.
