Nested Contact Groups - Outlook 2016 / Office 365

Don't know if you still have this issue, but I resolved this one today. One of the nested contact groups had been deleted. After creating a new contact group to replace the one that had been deleted, and then replacing the references to the old group with the new one, sending regular email to the nested groups worked normally.
