Need help: 550 5.7.367 Sender Not Authorized for Relay
Anyone here experienced this issue?
What happened is:
email address removed for privacy reasons and email address removed for privacy reasons are perfectly functional individual domains (i own both). Now, we contacted GD to get it linked (they removed all email account, including tenancy from email address removed for privacy reasons to connect it to email address removed for privacy reasons). Now, after that, everything is working fine except the emails, we cannot send and receive emails from outside the organization. We can only send and receive from internal. I tried doing test emails with multiple gmails to and from and same thing, I got this error: joe is not authorized to relay messages through the server that reported this error.
Error Details
Error: 550 5.7.367 Remote server returned not permitted to relay -> 554 5.7.1 <email address removed for privacy reasons>: Relay access denied
Message rejected by: mx1-usg1.ppe-hosted.com
I'm no TechWizard and would appreciate if someone can answer my question.

Be sure to see if that account has any emails forwarding in or forwarding out from the email host side. I had a similar issue repaired when a client had Comcast and had forwarding to Gmail setup, the Gmail wasn't working due to mailbox size, so it gave an error. Might be worth reviewing.
Is the account a regular mailbox or an alias? Also, is that account connected to another server? Gmail for example? Some folks setup send/receive in Gmail for a non Gmail account and that can give this error.

Sounds like a misconfigured email relay issue after GoDaddy’s changes. Check your MX records and SMTP settings, or contact GoDaddy to fix it.

There is a reddit post about a similar issue with GoDaddy hosting that involves mail getting kicked by ppe-hosted.com. Does this apply to your situation?
