navigation bar moved to left
Dears,
The navigation bar has been moved to the left. How can I change it back to be on the bottom?

This is part of the new Outlook experience where they are providing access to Apps in Outlook. There is no need to edit your registry; simply open your Outlook Options>Advanced>Outlook Panes
Then look for the Show Apps in Outlook and uncheck it; restart your Outlook and you're back to what you're used to!- MJones99Copper ContributorHappy to help! Take care
- elsH3823Copper ContributorThis is so frustrating - I have one monitor in Portrait view and this just adds another column to the screenspace. Yet another instance of Microsoft changing things for the sake of changing and not giving the option to choose. I'd switch to the Online version but half the features aren't available.

Found the solution as of 02/2023:
File > Options > Advanced > Show Apps in Outlook (uncheck to disable)
Restart Outlook

This helped me:

Here is the fix. On a personal note, I find it ridiculous for Microsoft to impose a navigation bar location. There should be an easier way, or a user friendlier way, to customize Outlook.

We can change it back by going to File > Options > Advanced Uncheck "Show Apps in Outlook".
Note, This will also remove the ability to get the Microsoft To Do app experience within Outlook.
Thanks,

1. CLICK FILE
2. OPTIONS
3. ADVANCED
4. UNCHECK - SHOW APPS IN OUTLOOK
5. CLICK OK
6. RESTART OUTLOOK
- Anth_SteverCopper ContributorIt’s super easy…. File > Options > Advanced > “Show Apps in Outlook” (unchecked goes back to “normal”)

Correct, it is very easy - but only AFTER figuring out what steps to take. The options to get to that are NOT intuitive.
