- ThePayneMar 21, 2023Copper ContributorThank goodness I can turn this off. It was so annoying because it was in my peripheral vision since I'm using two screens and it felt like a wall right next to me. Way to distracting and a total waste of space.
- Paul__OMar 21, 2023Copper ContributorUnfortunately their KB article says eventually you won't have a choice, you'll be forced to have it on the left.

Paul__O if they do force it, then I will have to minimize the window and move that edge off the screen because I just cannot handle it. I'm not joking when I say it's oppressive to me. Their designers are not considering the phycological impact to their users on their changes.

driscollc Did you actually read that? Microsoft clearly states that this option will be removed, and we will be forced to have the navigation bar on the left.

Paul__O Not sure what you mean by "did you read that". I figured this out this morning on my own and it did the trick. I am using the version with permanent changes and am not using a "try new features" version. Also want to mention I am not affiliated with Microsoft, just a user who found a solution.
- Paul__OMar 20, 2023Copper ContributorThe knowledge article from Microsoft that contains your solution says they'll be removing that checkbox and we will be forced to have the navigation bar on the left.
