navigation bar moved to left
I do not like the navigation bar being on the left. It messes with my keyboard, as I have a split keyboard & my copy button is rendered unusable. It also stops the function of being able to copy a line over & down in a previewed email attachment. This update is NOT helpful & not having any way to change it is ridiculous. That is NOT being user-friendly.
_JR321 I too cannot move my navigation bar and don't like it up on the left.. I like to be able to customize my icons for MY usage. Microsoft~ please read our comments and let us put the bar back where we want it not where YOU think we want it. Try ASKING us first! thanks, but no thanks!
Another one for the list - this change *SUCKS*. I just wasted too much time trying to figure out why it moved the icons to such an awful place, which for me is way up at the upper left of my leftmost screen, given where I park Outlook. This just wastes a huge vertical strip down the left side of the window now and puts the icons in the absolute worst place for me. Put them back, or at least let me do it.
I am pissed. Fix this.
_JR321 after an update last night, the navigation bar has moved to the left for me too. I find it more convenient and more economical to have the navigation bar at the bottom for mouse movements (I have RSI / OOS, so need to be economical.) I wouldn't mind it reverting back to where it was, or at least giving us the option to move it if it's more efficient to have the navigation bar at the bottom.
Rj__M Go to "File > Options > Advanced" and untick the option to "Show apps in Outlook." Then click "Okay" and restart Outlook!

Rj__M Totally agree - for the life of me I cannot understand why they change stuff that in changes the look and feel, but services no functional purpose. I have spent several hours trying this until I ran into this thread and found out they changed it. I just shake my head and wonder why they do stuff like this. Put it back or provide option for user to do it.
- Couldn't agree more, why have it on the left with everything else to squash on something extra, the bottom is more convenient and makes a lot more sense!
