Missing feature of copying meetings in Outlook (new)'s calendar

There is no way to copy an event. In the former Outlook version we are able to use ctrl+c/ctrl+v or ctrl+drag&drop to create a copy of the event, which I miss very much. Today, I can only recreate a meeting from scratch only, or have to use the former version of Outlook for this.

When will this be available in the new version?

Has this fault been fixed yet, or is there an ETA for the fix? Copying manually is such a waste of time. It's 2025, surely MS can do this sort of thing correctly.

Right click on the calendar entry you want to copy (without opening it) and select "Duplicate event" from the drop down.

not even the drag-n-drop of meetings works smooth.... I lost my hope already with that "new" Outlook

I am dealing today with the same issue.

Found here that the feature is removed on purpose.

My task is to copy a meeting to a date in 3-4 months.

Funny thing is, that copy by ctrl+drag&drop to a day in the calendar panel is still working fine!!!

But the panel shows only two months.

With ctrl+drag&drop its needs even one step less than ctrl+c/v for meetings within next 2 months.

I don't understand why MS is not providing such basic functions on purpose!?

Prolly MS will de-activate above mentioned function also, if they are becoming aware of it.
