Microsoft Outlook on IOS Office 365

My Microsoft Outlook is driving me around the bend. For the last three days, every time I try to start it a pop up comes up with: verifying microsoft outlook . It runs through the process only to then shut down my Outlook, which is from Office 365.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem? I have looked all through the internet but can find no information 😞
