Microsoft Outlook not responding
Microsoft Outlook is not responding on both my laptop and my desktop PC.
When I open Outlook, it downloads my latest emails from Hotmail.
But when I click on an email, it says Outlook(Not Responding).
Both computers are running Windows 10. The laptop is running Outlook 2013 and the desktop is running Outlook 2016.
I haven't made any changes to my computers, but this just started happening a couple of days ago on both computers. In both cases, outlook is using CPU (around 20 - 30%)
I have tried running in Safe mode and disabling add-ons, but that didn't help.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hello! Ryanoterp
Does this happen with one specific email or is it any email you try to open?
Have you tried any of the following?
- Reparing Outlook / office
- Removing and adding your email account in Outlook again
- Typed "run" in the start menu and then "Outlook.exe /resetnavpane" To see if that works?
Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance! 🙂
Kind Regards

Thanks Oliwer.
Removing my Hotmail account and adding it back seems to have fixed the issue.
