Microsoft Outlook for Mac Version 16.71.2 clean Conversation actions

1) What is the mac equivalent to "Outlook.exe /CleanConvOnGoingActions"?

2) Is there a way to completely disable the ignore function?

I am getting all kinds of messages showing up in the deleted folder that were ignored. This occurs in Outlook for windows, for Mac and on outlook.com
