Microsoft 365 Unable to create new email
I absolutely KNEW it was going to happen, I just figured it would take longer than a week.
I switched from Office 2019 to Microsoft 365 on a family plan about a week ago.
It worked fine. Outlook worked fine.
It worked fine yesterday, and last night, and sat there overnight and it was fine when I went to bed.
This MORNING - press the "New Email" button and it sits with an hourglass for a couple seconds then stops. NO NEW EMAIL.
Yes, everything is there. I can see the Inbox and the Out box and all the other boxes. I can look at things in them.
I can FORWARD email.
I can RECEIVE email.
I can REPLY to email.
BUT I can't create a new email.
YES, I rebooted. Multiple times. AND COLD booted multiple times.
And I finally went over to the control panel and did a full repair, which apparently involved it totally re-downloading and installing Microsoft 365.
And REBOOTED again.
And I STILL cannot create an email.
And YES, I went out and looked for "Microsoft 365 unable to create email" and found dozens of things that sent me to Microsoft. Where there were no useful answers that I could find.
This HAS TO BE SOMETHING STUPID I'm DOING or NOT doing, but I have NO idea what...
At the moment, I'm dead in the water and having to send email from a gmail account.
HOW do I fix this? OTHER than to reinstall Office 2019...
