Mail sent to Distribution list (which has my email as well , Comes back as a new email in Inbox

Hi

Am using Office 365

I have a distribution list  (PDL) configured which has few members including myself.

This PDL is available across the Organisation to send email.

 

When I draft an email and keeping this distribution list in cc and sent it across, i also get a copy of the same in Inbox as i am part of the distribution list.

 

This is quite annoying as i have 2 copies of the email now.. One in Sent item and other in Inbox.

how can this be fixed ?

    That's the expected behavior. You can configure a rule to auto-delete such messages. Or, since you are using Office 365, convert the DG to an Office 365 Group, which do not exhibit this behavior.
