in some e-mail accounts incomplete menue view - no change possible

This should be visible an in some accounts it is:

There are also no columns any more at this accounts and no possibility to switch off the reading field. 

I can not find out, what I did (think i was a click or key-combination) to get this limitation and how to come back to be able to do do the settings of the view.
