I need to return to my classic Outlook. I need to turn off new toggle. I can't. Help

My issue is that the RIBBON looks different and my options for contacts and calendar are at the top left instead of at the bottom of the screen.  The placement takes up too much of my screen that way.  Back to the Ribbon. Where it once was almost a part of the body of the outlook screen, it is now separate and has "fancy" looking features.  My outlook was fine.  By the way, I have the option to "try the new outlook" but this looks new to me or at least different.  I've done the launch with outlook.exe and it still comes up with the new ribbon.  I've shut down and clicked on the outlook without the (new) behind it and I still get the new ribbon.  I want my old look back.  thanks if you can help
