I need to return to my classic Outlook. I need to turn off new toggle. I can't. Help
NebilSedki You can also type in outlook.exe in the Run box by pressing the Windows key + R and will launch classic Outlook

johnddy Hi there,
Much to my chagrin, within 24 hours that's what happened to me too. I am stills stuck with going into Settings>General>About and using the link at the bottom to switch back.
I am disgusted with M.S. that they have forced this change. I found the old system soooo useful.- johnddyAug 07, 2024Copper Contributor
andrewmwinter where do I fing settings .Cant see it in FILE EXPLORER
- GardenRRJul 26, 2024Copper ContributorThis instantly worked for me. Soon as I typed Outlook.exe into the Run box, it instantly launched Outlook Classic. I now have the toggle in the upper right hand corner should I ever change my mind (fat chance!).
Thank you!- andrewmwinterJul 26, 2024Copper Contributor

hey there. Nope. My copy of Windows kind find Outlook.exe. I get the following message:
Windows cannot find 'Outlook.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.I have run into the problem any number of times on my system. I suspect I have some kind of "indexing" turned off somehow. But as of right now this fails.
- GardenRRJul 26, 2024Copper ContributorNo one would ever accuse me of being a geek, but in the Settings app choose "Privacy & Security" from the left-hand side. Select "Searching Windows" option, scroll to the bottom of the page to "Indexer troubleshooter" Click on that and a popup offers, among other options, to troubleshoot "Outlook search doesn't return results." Have you tried running that trouble shooter? (I made a couple of screenshots for you, but I now see I can't attach them.)
