Hyperlinks not copying into Word documents

Until I did an update of Microsoft 10 last week, I was able to copy web-page addresses from the internet and paste them into Word documents as live hyperlinks. Now when I copy and paste addresses they just appear in the document as plain text. Can someone please suggest a way of solving this problem? Thank you, Greg
