How to snooze an email in the desktop version of Outlook?
Had not thought of this before! if you snooze on your phone, it ALSO snoozes the message in your inbox on Desktop.
I just had a PERFECT example of a tracking number that does not come up in UPS's system yet, but probably will tomorrow morning, so snoozed it on my phone, which I keep on a stand right next to my keyboard, and expect to see this message at 8AM in my inbox tomorrow !
I just saw this thread and you've prpobably already found a good solution, but I'm adding this to my organizational tools!
THANK YOU !!
DavidThomasson i tried this workaround, and the snoozed emails re-appear at the new time/ date on my phone (and also in web version) but not on desktop version of outlook. do i have a setting wrong somewhere?
- DavidThomassonMay 11, 2023Copper ContributorI just tested snoozing your email on my phone. It hid it in the outlook desktop app, then dropped it back into the desktop inbox on schedule. I can verify that it 'does' work but not 'why' it worked for me and not on your set up. 🤔

DavidThomasson on further investigation i can see that the snoozed email does, in fact, re-appear in the destop version, however it does not show up at the top of my inbox, but goes right back to where it was originally. therefore if the email was originally received 2 weeks ago, thats where it goes back to after the snooze. on the web/ phone version however the snoozed email goes right to the top of my inbox. can you confirm if the snoozed email (desktop version) goesback to its original time/ date, or does it appear at the top of your inbox?
