How to remove account from Outlook Bar that isn't in Accounts?
I've got two instances of an IMAP email account sitting empty in the Outlook bar, but with no account in the Accounts window. I tried adding a new account, tried deleting the .ost. I can't re-add the...
You don't need to delete the profile (you can do that from the Control panel or File > Account Settings > manager profiles) - you can look in the registry for a key and delete it.
Browse the 00000* subkeys at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Profiles\[profilename]\9375CFF0413111d3B88A00104B2A6676 - delete the keys for that address. That should fix it.
