Hotmail account locked - Beyond frustrated now

The hotmail account that I have been using regularly for the past 20+ years has been locked. The issue happened whilst I was overseas. I have been submitting the required recovery form for days FULL ...

gailjugow hi, did you get this sorted? As i have had the exact same problem for the past 3+weeks with my other email and it is a massive problem!! I have no way of getting into it or hold of anyone to sort it.

    fernsail I did but only through a local IT company. We worked out that Microsoft had been blocked on my phone so once I unblocked them I was able to sort it out myself. Nobody from Microsoft could assist. It was really frustrating.

      gailjugow are you uk based? If so what conpany did you use? 

      could you please advise how you unblocked it?

        No aim in Australia and it was my companies IT service that helped me. Have you checked your blocked contacts in your phone settings?
