Awful decision. I use screens in Portrait mode so you've just enforced another column. And I can't switch to online as I would lose half the features available in the desktop version. Could you at least give us the choice - have the "new" navigation bar as default but give the option and choice to move it where best suited in order to work effectively. Look and feel is irrelevant if you can't work efficiently.
