Force a link to an Office 365 group calendar to open the calendar on that group only

A link formatted as https://outlook.office365.com/calendar/group/xxx.onmicrosoft.com/xxs/view/month 

doesn't always open the group calendar referenced in the link. Sometimes a user's own calendar opens too and they have to manually deselect other calendars so only the group calendar displays. Not that it's relevant, but in this case. I'm embedding the calendar in a Teams tab.

First, what's the point of a group calendar link if it doesn't open the group calendar alone? Second, is there a way to force the calendar to open on the group calendar only?
