Excessive Junk Mail
I dont sign up for a lot of things. But of courses, bills, kids schools, etc. you have to sign up for some stuff. What I hate though is unscrupulous companies that as soon as you sign up for something turn around and sell your info before you can tell them not to. I think there should be a federal law that makes it so they can't sell any info (not even to their "Partners") unless you say they can. So instead of us having to opt out, we should have to opt in. Anyway. The problem is I was searching for a new insurance provider a few months ago and I got quotes from a couple places. but you have to give them your email address. Which again shouldn't be allowed. just show me on the screen and if I want to do business with you then I may give you my email address. But anyway, surprise surprise, now I'm all of a sudden getting hundreds of emails a day from spammers! Hundreds. Which makes it so when I get an email from one of my kids teachers for the first time I may miss it because I have to go through all the junk. I would think that with all this "AI" lately everywhere, it would be easy for Microsoft to now have spam filters based on AI. Spammers can spoof a lot of things like email address from, but if I can sit and go through hundreds of junk mails and pretty easily tell if soemthing is spam or not I bet the AI bots could do even better and save me the time and potentially missed good emails???? Why would microsoft not do this? Add it as a premium feature or something?? idk. But if they don't it just becomes more and mroe suspicious why Microsoft allows this to continue. We could wipe out spam tomorrow.
