error when logging into Hotmail

After entering my password, I get the following error:

I remoted into another computer in another state and tred from there (totally different DNS and IP address - not a cache problem) and get the exact same error.

My connection to the Hotmail server was open last night during an electrical storm, and I suspect that Hotmail, while automatically and periodically verifying my credentials (or something like that), had a data stream that got corrupted, and the corruption was written back to my account on the Hotmail server.

Is there any way to fix this?
