Error Message When I open Outlook from Internet Explorer - Do you want to allow this website....

So everytime I open Outlook on my system I am encountering a message from apparently Internet Explorer that says:

"Do you want to allow this website to open an app on your computer?"

 

I have been a trying a variety of things to fix it. Additionally if I try to use the Microsoft FindTime plugin in Outlook it will also pop up the message making me believe it is related to services it is trying to contact using IE in the background. 

 

Does anyone else have experience with this issue?

    Problem solved. 

     

    I had previously done a repair and it did not fix the issue but I ran an office repair and it fixed it this time for whatever reason. 

     

    I had been trying a multitude of fixes found online previously and none of those were working.
