Email reminders about cancelled meeting
LeonPavesic Thanks for taking the time to reply. I can't see an option to automatically cancel reminders (although I could be looking in the wrong place!)
Furthermore, the email notifications are not about past meetings but about future meetings that have been cancelled. I also need to stop emails going to meeting invitees.
I should update my query to say I'm using 365 using desktop access.
Hi Siani70,
thanks for the additional info.
You are not doing anything wrong, your version of Outlook doesn't have the Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events option in File > Options > Advanced.
You can try to check if you have a registry key in regedit or create one:
- open registry editor (regedit)
- check if you have this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\Reminders
DWORD:AutoDimissPastEvents
- if not, you can try to create it with these values:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\Reminders
DWORD:AutoDimissPastEvents
Value 1 = dismiss
