It appears outlook ignores the 'from' header and displays data it derives from other email headers, e.g. sender. Is there a document describing this design decision? This behavior is very apparen...
I totally agree. It's a bad idea to prefer the 'sender' header over the 'from' header, because the 'from' header contains the information I would like the receiver to see.
