Edit Subject in New Outlook

I cannot edit the Subject of emails in 'New' Outlook. This is something we use as part of a business process here. Does anyone know if MS have plans to fix this in 'New' Outlook?

I did provide this to Microsoft and they suggested posting in here to help get it added to the roadmap!
