Deleting email account from one PC

Outlook Desktop:

My wife's laptop got hit with ransomware yesterday, got through that, after that MS installed an large update...All good until this morning...her PIN no longer worked...Had to get an auth# being sent to her...her email is only on her pc which we did not access to...I set her account up on my system, got the auth#, went to delete her account from my system "Careful...if you remove this account...offline cache will be deleted.

Will all her emails from her provider be deleted? Or am I misunderstanding their use of cache?

One more thing...Don't tell my wife I have access to all her emails!!!!!!!

  • DeletedThank you, pretty much what I thought...Just could not afford to make a mistake on this one!!

You'll be fine - it's just unsyncing your computer with your wife's email account.

If you don't have access to the Internet and have drafts of messages that haven't been sent, you'll only lose them forever.

The rest of the emails will remain in your account. (sorry to your Wife)
