There don’t even seem to exist something that could be recovered (ost, pst or something like that).

That's strange. Removing an email account from Classic Outlook doesn't normally delete the associated OST file. The default location for these files is usually:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OutlookOpen a Windows Explorer and paste that into the Address bar.
Or use Windows Explorer Search for anything with a .pst or .ost file extension.
