Delete button - hide in outlook
I want to know if it possible to get rid of the delete button that comes up when you hover on a message as it easy to delete a message instead of flagging it as the buttons are very close together. ...
- In Old Outlook (which is our preferred platform) there is no control of the Delete button, it is not in the quick steps or quick actions to manage. It is fixed, not controllable. Poor placement and invisible until accidentally pressed! horrible by design. New outlook is avoided by most users.
Thanks for all the info. Personally, I like having the Delete button in the hover menu since it's easy to use--and it doesn't auto-open the below e-mail (a real irritant for me) after I deselect the message.
Can the button be enabled/disabled in the Web view of Hotmail? As of a few minutes ago, it appears in some of my folders but not others. I do not see the buttons mentioned in this thread.
