Creating hotmail.co.uk email
Hi,
I want to delete my hotmail.co.uk email/account - but want to check no malicious people can set up a new account with the exact same name - is it true that it’s no longer possible to create a hotmail.co.uk account?

I recommend to always keep and never delete email accounts and to forward emails to your current email account.In the past, thousands of unused hotmail email accounts were hacked and can't be recovered.
MathieuVandenHautte Thank you, really appreciate your advice. Okay so I will keep it. I wonder if you can help me with something else… I only have the web browser version of Outlook and deleted all my contacts but still see them and everyone I’ve ever emailed appear in auto fill when I start typing in the ‘To’ bar when creating an email. I want to delete all suggested contacts and auto fill suggestions - but the two options I’ve found online doesn’t work for me. Selecting the suggested contact and pressing the X doesn’t actually delete the contact as they re-appear if I start typing again. And I can’t see any ‘File’ tab anywhere so can’t seem to ‘empty auto fill list’ - do you know if there’s any way for me to do this using the web browser version?

It is worth analyzing - deleting an unnecessary account - but all related services will stop syncing - I recommend caution in this case.
